Organization

At the front of the binder should be your class schedule and exam dates. As you are given new material, make sure that it goes in the proper place within the binder. This habit will save you time when it comes to studying.

Review Time

The primary purpose of this is that you will never be 100% positive where a test question may come from.

Practice

Taking Your Time

Because special needs children are different from children that are of a normal learning ability, you will need to plan your time more then with other children.  If you have other kids that are home schooling you may have to extend the day for the special needs child so that they can learn as well as the other children in the house.  This may not be easy, but will benefit you and the children in the long run.

When you home school a special needs child, you may get frustrated and not know if you made the right choice for you, but if you take your time and keep going you will find the many rewards that await you in the end.
